Job Details
Assists physicians with obtaining digital radiographic images of heart, peripheral vessels and other required structures.
Controls radiographic equipment to acquire quality images.
Prepares procedure room and equipment for daily use and each procedure.
Documents data necessary for patient records, charge entry and image archive.
Delivers pre-, during, and post-procedure patient care.
Operates and maintains cardiac catheterization lab equipment.
May perform lead worker responsibilities such as training and education of staff.
Job Requirements
Graduation from a Radiologic Science program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health and Accreditation, or from a special procedures program, or from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Completion of a course training in cardiac catheterization (transcripts required).
Certified in Radiation Therapy or Radiology through ARRT, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through CCI.
Greater than 2 years experience at a large hospital Cardiac Cath Lab providing STEMI care and advanced Cardiac Cath procedures including pulmonary embolism, cardiogenic shock, ECMO, diagnostic and interventional treatment of CAD.

10 hours per day.
