This opportunity offers weekday daytime coverage with shared pager call while caring for a diverse surgical population in a collaborative anesthesia practice.

Assignment Details
- Setting: Hospital-Based Anesthesiology
- Start Date: September 1, 2026
- Contract: September 1, 2026 July 31, 2027
- Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Shift: 6:00 AM4:30 PM
- Call: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday pager call
- EMR: Epic
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures
- Manage induction, maintenance, emergence, and postoperative anesthesia care
- Provide anesthesia services for general, orthopedic, and obstetric cases
- Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) while also managing independent cases
- Document patient care using Epic
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology or fellowship trained
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency
- Active New York medical license
- ECFMG certification and FLEX documentation, if applicable
- Experience providing anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and obstetric procedures
- Comfortable supervising CRNAs
- Eligible for hospital credentialing
