Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Honolulu, HI
Pay: $22/hour
Experience: 1 year of relevant experience in building or general maintenance.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Perform skilled carpentry work including repairing and replacing doors, frames, and cabinetry.
- Execute high-quality interior and exterior painting tasks including surface preparation, and applying paint, stains, and finishes.
- Perform masonry tasks such as repairing bricks, blocks, and stones, and repairing concrete surfaces.
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and perform troubleshooting of building systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure property upkeep.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, adhering to all safety procedures and regulations.
- Assist with apartment turnover processes and ensuring units are move-in ready.
- Communicate effectively with residents and maintain a professional demeanor.
Position Requirements:
- Carpentry, painting, masonry, and general maintenance skills.
- Proficient in using tools and performing basic repairs.
- Dependable, reliable, and proactive.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
