Weekend Activities Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

– Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging recreational activities and entertainment for residents on weekends

– Foster a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home and promotes social interaction

– Motivate and inspire residents to participate in activities that enhance their well-being and quality of life

– Collaborate with team members to develop new activity ideas tailored to residents’ interests and needs

– Ensure the safety and comfort of residents during activities and outings

– Maintain activity supplies and ensure the activity area is clean and inviting

Skills and Qualifications:

– Genuine enthusiasm for working with seniors and enhancing their daily experiences

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Creativity and ability to develop engaging activity plans

– Reliable and committed to working weekends (Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm)

– Previous experience in recreational therapy, activities, or a related field is preferred

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Compassionate, patient, and positive attitude
