Key Responsibilities:

– Prepare, mix, and serve drinks according to standard recipes for a variety of events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and private parties.
– Greet guests courteously and provide efficient and timely service with a focus on personalized and friendly interaction.
– Stay informed about the event-specific beverage menu and promotions to make informed recommendations to guests.
– Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
– Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless operation and collaboration during events.
– Handle cash and credit transactions accurately following company protocols and secure financial practices.
– Assist in the setup and breakdown of bar stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
– Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed.
– Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations concerning the service of alcoholic beverages.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a banquet or events setting.
– Excellent knowledge of mixology, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and cocktail recipes.
– Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
– Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
– Basic math skills with a high level of accuracy in handling cash and processing payments.
– Must have any necessary certifications or permits required to serve alcohol according to local laws.

Working Conditions:

– Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a bustling event environment.
– Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedule.
– Occasional lifting of heavy items, such as kegs and boxes of supplies, may be required.
