Our client in Virginia needs assistance with Interventional Cardiologist locum tenens coverage.

Here are some of the details.

Location: Central VA

Facility: Hospital, 250 beds, and 30 ICU beds

Practice Setting: Inpatient/Call; EMR-EPIC

Schedule: On-site weekdays 7 am 5 pm; on-call weekday evenings 5 pm-7 am; on-call weekends 7 am-7pm; Sunday 7 am 7 am Monday.

Practice Details: average number of admissions daily 2, call volume (not many STEMIs – 159 activations in 2025 with a 47% cancellation rate). STEMI cal is aligned with unassigned call and noninvasive coverage. Other IC will be present during locum coverage.

Procedures Required: Balloon Angioplasties, Coronary Angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Heart Catheterization, Medical Management of Vascular Disease, Coronary Angiograms, Embolic Protection, Carotid Artery Stenting, Atherectomy

Certifications/License : BC, BLS/ACLS, and active VA License
