We are looking for a passionate and experienced Culinary Director/Manager to lead and inspire our culinary arts program for students from PreK through High School in Franklin Square, NY. This is a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of culinary talent by building a dynamic, hands-on curriculum across all grade levels. Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive culinary arts curriculum for PreK through High School students
• Manage and mentor culinary arts instructors and kitchen staff across multiple grade levels
• Ensure kitchen facilities, equipment, and food inventory are properly maintained and stocked
• Coordinate culinary events, demonstrations, and student showcases throughout the school year
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards in compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with school administration to align culinary programming with educational goals and budgets
• Evaluate student progress and support age-appropriate skill development in culinary techniques

Requirements:

• Proven experience in culinary arts education, food service management, or a related field
• Strong leadership and team management skills with experience supervising staff
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety credential required
• Ability to develop age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans for diverse grade levels
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional culinary experience preferred
• Passion for working with children and young adults in an educational environment
