Forklift Operator – 3rd Shift
Location: Columbus, OH 43215
Employment Type: Contract Full-Time 3rd Shift
Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $22.63-$25.63
Role Overview
BEPC is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support our client’s overnight warehouse and material-handling operations in Columbus, Ohio. This position is ideal for a dependable, safety-conscious professional with previous experience operating powered industrial trucks in a fast-paced work environment.
The Forklift Operator will operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial equipment to safely load, move, position, and transport materials throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks used for material handling.
- Operate equipment with lifting devices such as forks, elevating platforms, or buckets.
- Load, unload, move, and position materials as required.
- Transport materials safely and efficiently throughout designated work areas.
- Follow established workplace and equipment safety procedures.
- Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and materials while operating powered equipment.
- Support general material-handling and warehouse activities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of previous forklift or powered industrial truck operating experience.
- Experience operating gasoline, diesel, electric, and/or propane-powered industrial equipment preferred.
- Ability to safely perform material-handling activities in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Dependable attendance and ability to consistently work the overnight shift.
Contract Details
Contract Dates: October 26, 2026 – September 17, 2027
Work Location: Columbus, OH 43215
Shift: 3rd Shift, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Overtime: This is a non-exempt position. Hours worked over 40 per week will be paid at time-and-a-half.
