Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for an Adult Medical-Surgical unit in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This assignment is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced inpatient environment and are committed to delivering safe, compassionate, evidence-based patient care.
The facility maintains established performance standards. Travelers are expected to consistently meet clinical and professional expectations throughout the assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult Medical-Surgical patients.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license (or compact license if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of Adult Medical-Surgical RN experience
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Compensation & Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Shift: Nights (6 PM 6 AM)
- Overtime: After 40 hours/week
- Holiday coverage required
