Description:

This role will focus on supporting both R&D and production in the building of test equipment. R&D testing will be lab-based and quick-turn designs to satisfy a one-off customer test requirement. Production test equipment will require a more robust piece of test equipment that will test thousands of cold plates or cold plate systems to ensure performance and consistency of the finished product.

  • Build test equipment, utilized in lab (R&D) and production settings, that can control and measure the following physical parameters:

Flow rate of coolant

Pressure

Voltage and current

Temperature (RTD, thermistors)

  • Program microcontrollers or PLCs to build test equipment
  • Store test data in a retrievable database (eg csv, sql,etc.).
  • Create detailed documentation that enables production and engineering technicians to use the test equipment reliably.
  • Work within a team for input and direction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in related field
  • Able to think on their feet and execute on project in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to design fluidic equipment from a piping and instrumentation diagram.
