About the Role: As our Title Assistant, you’ll work side-by-side with our Title Examiners and Processors, helping prepare title commitments, clear title issues, communicate with clients and lenders, and keep transactions moving efficiently. This is much more than an administrative position. You’ll become an essential part of the title team while learning from experienced professionals who are committed to helping you grow.
What You’ll Do:

  • Open new title orders and accurately enter file information.
  • Assist with preparing and updating title commitments.
  • Help clear title requirements by obtaining payoff information, releases, affidavits, and supporting documentation.
  • Order tax information, HOA documents, and other required items.
  • Prepare CPLs and supporting title documents.
  • Communicate with lenders, Realtors, attorneys, buyers, and sellers regarding outstanding title requirements.
  • Monitor files to ensure commitments and title documents are delivered promptly.
  • Maintain organized file documentation and accurate records.
  • Assist examiners and processors with additional title-related tasks as needed.
  • Jump in wherever needed to help keep the office running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For: Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous title, mortgage, real estate, legal, or lending experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple files in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • SoftPro experience is a plus.
